Partnerships
Creative Music Journal considers collaborations that fit its focus on music-making and listening and that are clear to readers. Use the Contact page to describe the proposal, its audience and any placement you have in mind.
Possible collaborations
We consider relevant educational, cultural and creative projects, along with clearly defined partner placements that suit the publication’s subject. Proposals should explain what is being offered, who it is for, what readers would encounter and how the collaboration would be supported.
Partner placements
Standing partner placements may be considered where they are relevant and suitable for the publication. Placement does not imply editorial endorsement, and availability or acceptance is not guaranteed.
Clear labelling
Sponsored and partner material is labelled distinctly from independent editorial content. Partners do not approve editorial conclusions or receive a promise of coverage in exchange for a placement.
How to propose
Send a concise outline through the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject, intended audience and any relevant conditions so the idea can be assessed on its merits.
Music is made of choices
A closer listen can reveal how a musical idea becomes a performance. We explain the craft without assuming specialist knowledge.
